Hayden’s Plushmusic2 festival was a success and many new new formations were heard, reviews and more are up on the Plush blog here. In May, new installation pieces with Rebecca Horn will be presented at the CCB Museum in Rio as well as a solo performance around the opening. Following that Hayden will be co-moderating the live streaming of the Moers Festival via Plushmusic. On May 28 The Embassadors will play at the ElbJazz Festival in Hamburg in a new formation. Early June Hayden will be recording a new trio record with Matt Penman and Jochen Rueckert in New York and later in the month he will be performing Fata Morgana, the film music from the 08 Venice Bianale, live in Cologne on June 22. Filming starts end of June on a new documentary on German folk music which will see Hayden travelling through the country and recording with Brass bands and more…. The Greek masterclass will take place for the 5th year in August and the site wiht Hayden’s teaching schedule is up here.

Coptic Dub continues to pile up great reviews and was listed in Die Zeit and in Tonight as one of the Albums of the year.
Hayden’s production of the Tuvan group Huun Huur Tu is now online here. As well as producing the concert film he also has put out a stunning documentary of the group’s return to their homeland.
Hayden is now in Tokyo and will be performing solo and giving a lecture at the Museum of Modern Art on 29/30 October. Several Plushmusic productions from the Summer are now almost ready, including the long awaited release of the Breve concerts with John Taylor.
Hayden´s production of Root70 live is now available for download here. Work is now moving ahead on the score for another film- Naked Mind. The Embassadors Coptic Dub release is being prepared for an Autumn release, amongst the producers is Mark Ernestus (Rhythm & Sound) and soundartist and mastering engineer Rashad Becker. Alongside the Horn film for La Fenice, Hayden is also working on music for the documentary film Lychener Str. 64. The production of new Embassadors Album Coptic Dub is in full swing and some of the these new tracks will be presented in Cologne Subway on April 21. Watch the live column for root70 dates. The Premiere of the new Rebecca Horn film in the La Fenice Theatre of Venice will take place end of May. Hayden is now composing a new score for this work which will run throughout the Venice Bianale. Early March he will performing as part of the International poetry festival in Dubai.
